What do I do if my child reacts poorly?

As we all know, children can be unpredictable and full of emotions. This is the beauty of raising kids! We encourage you to accept and embrace this fact. As they say, Rome wasn’t built in a day. We encourage you to build a routine with your child that you return to on a regular basis. The more you engage in this activity, the more comfortable your child will be and you’ll see fewer negative reactions. You’ve got this!

How do I know this is a trustworthy program?

Part of our mission is to be a research-based program, bringing you the most current information we can find. That, combined with our 15 years in education and Master’s degrees, inform all of our programming.

Why do I have to follow the routine more than once?

Beginning at age 4, families who had a consistent and high level of commitment to their routines and rituals over a 5 year period had children who grew up to have higher scores on standardized tests than did children whose families showed a consistently low level of practicing routines and rituals.

Family routines and rituals provide predictable structure for children. This structure guides their behavior and sets the tone for healthy emotional development.
